PUJA (Brunei) Council attends Courtesy Call with Minister of Development to Discuss Strategic Action Plan and Industry Challenges
Bandar Seri Begawan, 1st August 2024 — The PUJA (Brunei) Council conducted a courtesy call to Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda Bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development, at the Kementerian Pembangunan. This significant meeting included the presence of the Permanent Secretary, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Senior Management from JKR, as well as PUJA President Sr. Haji Mohd Hanafi POKDGSSLJ Hj Abd Rahman and Council Members.
The session commenced with a comprehensive briefing on PUJA and its ongoing activities, presented by PUJA President Sr. Haji Mohd Hanafi. During the meeting, he also handed over the PUJA Strategic Action Plan 2023-2038 to the Minister, marking a pivotal moment in the collaboration between the organization and the Ministry.
Discussions covered a range of pressing issues and challenges facing the construction industry, fostering a productive dialogue aimed at enhancing the sector’s development. The Minister and PUJA Council Members exchanged valuable insights on future initiatives and strategies to advance the industry.
The meeting concluded with the signing of the attendance book at the Ministry of Development by PUJA Council Members, symbolizing a commitment to ongoing engagement and partnership.
