PUJA Brunei Holds Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony & Donation Handover
Bandar Seri Begawan, 11 March 2026 – Pertubuhan Ukur, Jururetera dan Arkitek (PUJA) Brunei organised a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony and Donation Handover for 21 underprivileged recipients.
The event commenced at 3.50PM with Asar prayers in congregation, followed by the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony held at Masjid Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Kampong Jangsak, led by the Imam Ak Zulfadli bin Haji Jahri. The programme continued with a Tahlil recital and concluded with the donation handover ceremony.
The Guest of Honour, Ir. Awang Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, together with PUJA Chairman, Dato Seri Paduka Ar. Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, presented donations to the 21 underprivileged recipients.
The event was attended by more than 20 participants, including PUJA members, officers from the Ministry of Development and PUJA staff.
PUJA continues to actively organise programmes and activities for its members throughout the year as part of its efforts to foster professionalism while strengthening relationships within the professional community and the wider society, both nationally and internationally. This event forms part of PUJA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, which are held annually during the holy month of Ramadan as a way of giving back to the community while embracing the spirit of the blessed month.
