Institute of Architects, PUJA Brunei Successfully Convenes Annual General Meeting 2024/2025

Bandar Seri Begawan, 31 March 2026 – The Institute of Architects, PUJA Brunei (IAPB) successfully convened its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024/2025 at PUJA Hub, Universiti Teknologi Brunei.

The AGM brought together Corporate, Graduate and Associate Members of the Institute of Architects to review the Institute’s progress, deliberate on key matters, and elect new office bearers for the 2026/2027 term.

The programme commenced with attendance and registration, followed by Opening and Welcome Remarks.

During the meeting, members were presented with the Institute’s AGM reports, including the Minutes of Meeting (MOM), membership reports, and AGM presentation slides, providing an overview of the Institute’s activities and progress over the past term.

The meeting also facilitated online participation via Zoom, allowing members who were unable to attend in person to join and contribute to the proceedings.

This was followed by the nomination and election of office holders for the 2026/2027 term, conducted in accordance with the Institute’s governing procedures. The existing committee was formally dissolved prior to the election process, after which nominations were called, votes were cast, and the newly elected office bearers and committee members were duly confirmed.

Members were also briefed on the Institute’s plans and key initiatives for 2026, before proceeding to Any Other Business (AOB) where members were given the opportunity to raise matters and provide suggestions for the continued development of the Institute.
