PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd and ATH-Chevron Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Professional Development in Brunei Darussalam
Bandar Seri Begawan, 3rd September 2026 – PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd and ATH-Chevron officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration to strengthen professional development and technical capacity building within Brunei Darussalam’s construction and engineering industries. The MOU was signed by Ir. Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Md Ali, Managing Director of PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd, and Mr Daryl Chai, Managing Director of ATH-Chevron, and witnessed by YM Dato Seri Paduka Ar. Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, Council Chairman of PUJA Academy, and Mr Bernard Chai, Director of ATH-Chevron.
YM Dato Seri Paduka Ar. Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, emphasized that PUJA members are able to take full advantage of the collaboration by earning CPD points, broadening their professional knowledge, and remaining abreast of emerging technologies and products through the programmes to be jointly developed under this partnership.
In his remarks, Mr Daryl Chai, expressed ATH-Chevron is committed to supporting the industry through knowledge sharing and the introduction of practical, industry-relevant solutions.
The three-year partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organisations to provide high-quality learning opportunities that support industry growth and equip professionals with the latest technical knowledge and best practices.
Under the MOU, PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd and ATH-Chevron will jointly organise technical seminars, workshops and webinars on topics relevant to the construction industry and other related sectors. These programmes will be developed to address current industry needs, regulatory requirements and emerging technologies while supporting the continuing professional development of industry practitioners.
As part of the collaboration, PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd will oversee the planning, promotion and administration of the programmes, including participant engagement, venue coordination and the issuance of CPD certificates. ATH-Chevron will contribute its technical expertise by providing qualified speakers, developing seminar content anddelivering a series of presentations that bring practical industry knowledge to participants.
Both organisations expressed confidence that the partnership would create greater opportunities for knowledge sharing and strengthen technical competencies among professionals in Brunei Darussalam.
The MOU also reinforces the long-standing relationship between PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd and ATH-Chevron, which have successfully collaborated on several technical seminars in recent years. Through this formal partnership, both parties aim to expand the range of professional development programmes available to engineers, architects, quantity surveyors and other industry practitioners.
The agreement will remain in effect for three years from the date of signing, with the option for both parties to extend the collaboration by mutual agreement.
