PUJA (Brunei) Mid-Term Annual General Meeting (2024-2025)
Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera dan Arkitek (PUJA) Brunei held their 2025 AGM on Saturday 08 February 2025. PUJA is a Professional Institution whose members are Professionals, Practitioners, Graduates and Students from the three main disciplines of Quantity Surveyor, Engineering (Consisting of professionals from the Civil and Structural, Mechanical & Electrical, Building Services and Petrochemical sectors) and Architects.
The majority of the members of PUJA are Qualified Persons (QPs) registered with the Board of Architects, Professional Engineers and Quantity Surveyors (BAPEQS), Ministry of Development.
Established in 1984, one of the Objectives of PUJA Brunei is to promote the standard of professional conduct, required of members of the Institution in the interest of the Public and the Professions.
At the 2025 AGM, Council Members from the 11 Member PUJA Council presented their reports on the activities carried out by PUJA and the three divisions, one of which was a tree planting event co-organised with JASTRe, Ministry of Development which saw the plating of 40 saplings in an area within the Bandar Seri Begawan “Eco-Corridor” or Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas.
About 110 members attended the AGM which was held at Bilik Betabur, Ministry of Development. The AGM ended with the recital of the Surat Al-Asr.
