PUJA Academy Conducts Seminar on Reinforced Concrete Design to International Standards
Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th June 2025 – PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd recently held a one-day seminar titled “Practical Design of Reinforced Concrete Structure to Eurocodes”, led by Ir. Tu Yong Eng, Industry Expert in Structural Engineering and National Standards Development. The session took place at the Injaz Room, Institut Perkhidmatan Awam.
The seminar introduced participants to international structural design standards—commonly known as the Eurocodes—with a focus on how these updated guidelines apply to reinforced concrete construction. The session highlighted key differences between the Eurocodes and older design practices, offering practical guidance on how to adopt safer, more efficient building methods.
Ir. Tu Yong Eng, who has delivered numerous talks on Eurocodes across the region, shared valuable insights from his extensive industry experience, helping participants better understand the benefits of transitioning to internationally recognized standards.
