PUJA Brunei Holds 2024/2025 Annual General Meeting and Elects New Council for 2026/2027 Term
Bandar Seri Begawan, 31st January 2026 – Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera dan Arkitek (PUJA) Brunei held their 2024/2025 Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 31 January 2026. PUJA is a Professional Institution whose members are Quantity Surveyor, Engineers and Architects. Members are mainly Professionals, Practitioners, Graduates and Students from the Construction and Petrochem Sectors.
The event was opened with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat as the closing for the term 2024/2025 and the start for the new term 2026/2027. It was then followed by opening remarks by the Chairman of PUJA, Sr. Haji Mohammad Hanafi bin Pehin Orang Kaya DiGadong Seri DiRaja Dato Laila Utama Haji Abdul Rahman.
In addition to the annual reporting from the Presidents of the three Institute of Surveyors (Ukur), Engineers (Jurutera) and Architects (Arkitek), this meeting also held the election of the Chairman of PUJA Brunei, the Presidents of the Institutes of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects, as well as Council Members for the term 2026/2027.
About 120 members attended the AGM which was held at Bilik Betabur, Ministry of Development. The AGM ended with the recital of the Surat Al-Asr.
The duly elected Council Members for 2026/2027 term are:
Elected as the Chairman of PUJA (Brunei) is Dato Seri Paduka Ar. Hj Marzuke Hj Mohsin
Elected as the new President of Institute of Engineers PUJA (Brunei) is Ir. Hj Amer Hishamuddin POKAP DSS Hj Zakaria
Elected as the new President of Institute of Surveyors PUJA (Brunei) is Sr. Ambrose Shim Fui Sen
Elected as the new President of Institute of Architects PUJA (Brunei) is Ar. Zul’Amali DP Hj Idris
Elected as the new Treasurer of PUJA (Brunei) is Sr. Syukri Hj Zulkipli
Elected as the new Secretary General of PUJA (Brunei) is Sr. Wong Chuan Xing, Aaron
And
Ir. Hj Mohd Iskandar Bin Dato Paduka Hj Othman, Ar. Haji Khalid Hj Sirat, Ir. Hjh Fatimah Bte Hj Mohd Ali and Ir. Hj Mohd Yunus Hj Mohd Yusof as the new General Members of PUJA (Brunei).
The meeting was closed with remarks by the Chairman of PUJA (Brunei) 2026/2027 and recital of the Surat al-Asr.
