PUJA Academy Advances Construction Excellence Through Eurocodes Seminar
Bandar Seri Begawan, 18th November 2025 – PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd successfully conducted a two-day technical seminar titled “Essential Construction Practices & Testing to Eurocodes 2 & 7” from 17th to 18th November 2025, bringing together participants from across the construction and engineering sectors.
The seminar was led by Ir. Tu Yong Eng, a seasoned industry professional. With decades of experience and active involvement in national standard and technical committees, Ir. Tu has contributed extensively to the development of Malaysian Standards related to the Eurocodes, including MS EN 1990–1994, 1998, 10025, and associated steel design codes.

Throughout the two days, participants gained practical insights into key aspects of reinforced concrete construction, covering site investigation, concrete specification, quality control, and structural appraisal. The programme also provided a structured review of essential Eurocodes and testing standards such as EN 1990, 1991, 1992, 1997, EN 206, EN 13670, EN 12350, EN 12390, EN 12504, and EN 13791. Real-world case studies further enhanced the learning experience by highlighting common challenges and corrective approaches to the design and construction processes.
This course was developed by PUJA Academy to provide practitioners (architects, engineers, etc) and professionals with contractors, testing laboratories and site investigation companies, with awareness and knowledge of Eurocode standards and requirements within.
