PUJA Academy Hosts Seminar on Tensar Geosynthetic Applications for Ground Stabilisation and Reinforced Soil Structures
Bandar Seri Begawan, 10th September 2025 – PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd hosted a seminar titled “Tensar Geosynthetic Application: Ground Stabilisation & Reinforced Soil Structure” at the Lecture Theatre, Mutiara Exchange. The event brought together professionals from the engineering and construction sectors to explore innovative applications of geosynthetics in modern infrastructure development. The seminar was led by Mr. Mike Dobie, a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK). Recognized for his expertise in reinforced soil design methods and mechanical stabilization technologies, Mr. Dobie shared valuable insights into the growing role of geosynthetics in building resilient and cost-effective infrastructure. He highlighted how mechanical stabilization techniques, particularly the use of uniaxial geogrids, can improve pavement performance, enhance durability, and extend service life. Participants also gained practical knowledge on design considerations, methodologies, and real-world applications that are increasingly important in today’s infrastructure projects.
