PUJA Academy and AAET Host Webinar on Applied AI for Business and ERP
Bandar Seri Begawan, 21st July 2026 – PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd, in collaboration with the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), successfully hosted a webinar titled “Applied AI for Business and ERP: From LLM Fundamentals to Local AI Assistants” via the Zoom platform on Tuesday, 21st July 2026. The webinar attracted around 40 participants, comprising PUJA members and AAET participants from across the region.
The webinar was delivered by Dr. Choo Peng Yin, Deputy Dean for Industrial Training and Student Development at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. An academic and digital economy curriculum developer, Dr. Choo specialises in artificial intelligence, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and digital transformation, with a focus on practical AI adoption for business and education.
During the two-hour session, participants were introduced to the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in business operations, including AI platforms, Large Language Models (LLMs), cloud and local AI tools, prompt engineering, knowledge base development and AI assistants. Through live demonstrations, participants gained insights into how AI can improve productivity, support ERP-related processes and accelerate digital transformation, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The session also explored the evolution of AI from conversational chatbots to intelligent AI agents.
The webinar provided participants with practical knowledge and valuable insights into the growing role of AI in today’s digital economy, reflecting PUJA Academy’s commitment to advancing professional development through emerging technologies while strengthening regional collaboration with AAET in promoting innovation and digital transformation.
