PUJA Academy Hosts Seminar on ‘Geogrid Stabilisation in Practice: From Temporary Works to Long-Term Infrastructure’
Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th May 2026 – PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd in collaboration with ATH-Chevron & Tensar successfully hosted a seminar titled “Geogrid Stabilisation in Practice: From Temporary Works to Long-Term Infrastructure” at the Lecture Theatre, Mutiara Exchange. The seminar was attended by over 40 participants from the engineering, construction and infrastructure sectors.
The session was delivered by Dr. Dong Ngo Huy, Design Manager for East Asia at Tensar International Limited, who shared practical insights into the application of geogrid stabilisation across various engineering and infrastructure projects. Drawing from regional project experience, the talk explored how geogrid solutions can effectively address geotechnical challenges such as weak subgrades, differential settlement and construction constraints.
Throughout the presentation, participants were introduced to practical design approaches tailored to different site conditions and project requirements, supported by real-life case studies demonstrating improvements in constructability, sustainability and cost efficiency.
