PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd Hosts Seminar on International Electrical Standards and Safety (IEC 60364)
Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th September 2026 – PUJA Brunei Sdn Bhd, through PUJA (B) Academy Sdn Bhd, organised the seminar “Introduction to International Electrical Standards and Safety (IEC 60364)” on Wednesday, 30th September 2026, at Betabur Hall, Ministry of Development. The half-day seminar, held from 9.00AM to 12.00PM, was conducted in collaboration with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the ASEAN Engineering Register (AER), and carried 3 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for participating professionals. The seminar was attended by 62 participants.
The seminar aimed to introduce the structure, principles and application of the IEC 60364 series, improve understanding of internationally recognised requirements for the design, erection and verification of low-voltage installations, promote electrical safety, compliance and good engineering practices, and discuss the development and application of electrical standards and regulatory practices across ASEAN. This initiative is closely aligned with one of PUJA’s Strategic Core objective of improving the quality of professional competencies and developing the skills and knowledge transfer.

The programme commenced with welcoming remarks by the President of the Institution of Engineers PUJA Brunei (IEPB), Ir.
