Institute of Engineers, PUJA Brunei Participates in AFEO and YEAFEO Mid-Term Meetings
Yangon, Myanmar, 30th June 2026 – The Institute of Engineers, PUJA Brunei (IEPB) participated in the 25th ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) Mid-Term Meeting and the 34th Young Engineers of AFEO (YEAFEO) Mid-Term Meeting, held from 29th to 30th June 2026 at the Summit Parkview Hotel, Yangon, Myanmar.
The meetings brought together engineering institutions from across ASEAN to strengthen regional collaboration, exchange knowledge and discuss initiatives that support the continued advancement of the engineering profession. Delegates also participated in the concurrent Young Engineers of AFEO (YEAFEO) and Women Engineers of AFEO (WEAFEO) meetings, which focused on promoting greater engagement, leadership and collaboration among young engineers and women engineers throughout the region.
As part of the programme, participants visited Yangon Technological University, where they gained insights into engineering education and research while strengthening professional ties with fellow engineers, academics and institutional representatives from across ASEAN.
Through its participation, the Institute of Engineers, PUJA Brunei reaffirmed its commitment to fostering regional cooperation, supporting professional development and contributing to the advancement of engineering excellence through active engagement in international engineering platforms.
