PUJA Institute of Engineers Brunei Hosts Engineers Night 2025: “The Transformers”

Bandar Seri Begawan, 15 November 2025 – The PUJA Institute of Engineers Brunei successfully hosted Engineers Night 2025, themed “The Transformers”, on Saturday, 15 November 2025 at The Jade Garden, Level 2, Centrepoint Hotel.

The event was graced by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Hj Md Juanda bin Haji Rashid, Minister of Development, and attended by an estimated 150 participants, including PUJA Brunei members, industry leaders, engineers, and representatives from both public and private sectors. The evening celebrated the transformative contributions of engineers in shaping Brunei Darussalam’s development landscape.

A keynote address was delivered by Professor Dr. Michael Goutama, Advisor to the Minister, Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS, Republic of Indonesia. His keynote highlighted regional collaboration, sustainable growth, and the evolving leadership required to advance engineering excellence across Southeast Asia.

The evening concluded with a Students’ Final Year Project (FYP) Showcase, providing a platform for young engineering talent to present their innovative work to industry leaders and professionals.
